Lampasas is just twenty-five minutes from Killeen, Texas and Fort Hood Army Base for friends and family to visit the soldiers proudly serving our country. It is approximately fifty-five minutes from Austin, Texas and the State Capitol, and ninety minutes from San Antonio and the historic Alamo.

Lampasas is a great stopping place for Winter Texans traveling "down" south on Hwy 281. For people who like water activities, Lake LBJ, Inks Lake and Lake Buchanan are just a short drive from the Country Inn.

 

The Colorado Bend State Park is another great spot for the outdoor adventurer within a short distance of Lampasas. Also, we have several wineries less than thirty minutes from Lampasas.
